Supervisor, Manufacturing Cleaning Support

The Manufacturing Support team is responsible for maintaining the environment of the cleanroom facility to ensure STEMCELLs products are manufactured with the highest level of quality and control. You'll be performing tasks such as disinfectant preparation, disinfection of the facility and equipment, inventory replenishment, material transfer, and implementing disinfection program improvements. The Manufacturing Support Supervisor is responsible for scheduling and coordinating cleaning schedules, and training and supervising personnel. Duties and Responsibilities
Supervises cleaning crew personnel engaged in disinfection steps and provides feedback to the Manufacturing Manager on the performance of reports.
Follows written procedures to prepare disinfectants and performs hands-on cleanroom disinfection steps while maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP/ISO) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) standards.
Complete and maintain sterile gowning qualifications as required.
Works closely with the Manager to ensure workload is evenly distributed among all team members.
Updates and maintains cleaning schedule to ensure cleanroom disinfection is completed properly to support the ability to manufacture products while preventing cross-contamination.
Accountable for ensuring disinfectants and tools are replenished and maintained appropriately to ensure cleaning proceeds as planned to maintain schedule adherence.
Conducts various manufacturing support tasks as needed (E.g. Inventory replenishment, material transfer).
Aids the group in resolving issues and consults with the Manager as needed.
Provides suggestions to the training program, and facilitates training activities to ensure all cleaning crew members are properly trained and follow SOPs.
Maintains accurate and detailed records (logbooks, and forms) of all processes and training performed.
Escalates deviations to Manager and Quality Assurance, and follows the Non Conformance and CAPA process.
Follows all quality assurance (QA) policies and procedures outlined in the Quality Management System (QMS).
Attend cross-functional GMP/ISO MFG meetings when required.
Assists Manager in the hiring of future Manufacturing Cleanroom Cleaners Support.
Trains, develops, mentors, motivates, and inspires team members to grow in the team.
Leads by example and cultivates the team by setting a good example with both behavior and technical skills.
Works with Manager in streamlining workflow and facilitates improvement projects (SOP revisions, work standardization).
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Occasional weekend work (Saturday and/or Sunday) may be required.
Remain flexible for shift based work as required to meet business demand. (Majority of shifts will be from 6pm-2am with some flexibility for earlier shifts based on production schedule).
2 - 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in the field.
This position requires manual dexterity, versatility, great attention to detail, and good communication skills.
Knowledge of cleanroom disinfection/contamination control is a definite asset.
Knowledge of GMP/ISO standards and practices is a definite asset.
Ability to lift 25 to 30lbs.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Exposure to Lean Principles is a definite asset.
