Are you an experienced compensation professional with skills in organizational design? STEMCELL Technologies, Canada’s largest biotechnology company with a global presence, is looking for a Senior Compensation and Organizational Design Partner. This is your chance to align with an innovative, purpose-driven organization where you will deliver and provide recommendations on the company’s global and enterprise-level compensation programs and maintain the systems and processes that support organizational design.In this role you will be a trusted partner to the business, collaborating closely with the larger HR team to consult and advise on job architecture and compensation programs. You will uphold the integrity of our job levelling framework through consistent application of our job evaluation program, our policies, and our processes. You will also develop and deliver compensation education to our leaders and employees as an integral part of maintaining global and regional market competitiveness.
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Advises, partners and consults with relevant stakeholders to solve challenging architecture and compensation-related matters, including leading these teams and their clients through our various cyclical compensation activities
Oversees the governance and integrity of our job design, job documentation, and job evaluation processes within client groups through their consistent application and timely programmatic review
Serves as an expert in conventional compensation practices while also building strong external partnerships to better understand market pressures, collect intelligence and understands the latest trends, to make compensation recommendations that support our competitive positioning
Knowledge and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field with 6+ years of demonstrated expertise in compensation from a combination of advanced degrees and/or work experience (CPHR and/or CCP designation is an asset)
Strong knowledge of compensation practices and theory, with global experience an asset
Previous experience with organizational design is preferred but not required
Technically proficient with Google Sheets and/or Excel, with an ability to analyze, interpret, compile, and synthesize large data sets while maintaining integrity and confidentiality
Excellent organization and time management skills, with attention to detail and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset

The annual base salary for this job ranges from:
$95,200.00 - $142,800.00STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
