Recruitment Fraud Alert

STEMCELL Technologies has become aware of a scam wherein somebody is offering remote job opportunities, posing as STEMCELL Hiring Management during interviews, then providing fraudulent employee agreements and checks. We have reported this criminal activity to the appropriate authorities and our online security team is working hard to ensure that it is dealt with. Job Description Summary

In this role, you will provide product and scientific support to new and existing customers, as well as distributors and sales staff. Support includes communicating directly with customers, delivering technical training, troubleshooting product experiments, and developing scientific tools. You will manage complex issues and product complaints, and develop and apply high-level technical skills and specialized knowledge on one or more product lines. The scientific support team assures training and knowledge transfer within the team and to sales staff. As a Scientific Support Specialist, Operations, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standard of customer service in a fast-paced and stimulating environment.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the STEMCELL portfolio to assist customers with scientific and product-related requests

  • Provide detailed information for general inquiries across the entire portfolio, and troubleshoot product complaints; analyze customers’ scientific support needs and feedback, and provide actionable reports to relevant teams

  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of communications with customers and internal stakeholders in the company's CRM system

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders for development of scientific support resources and training for staff and customers

  • Assist with training and mentoring new team members on scientific support processes

  • Execute ad-hoc projects and tasks as determined by the Manager


Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Post secondary degree in a Life Science such as cell biology, biochemistry, or molecular biology

  • Experience in the field of stem cell research and mammalian cell culture theory is an asset; 2-4 years of hands-on lab experience is required

  • Ability to explain product and scientific information to both experts and non-experts alike

  • Strong organizational and time management skills accompanied by good judgment in order to prioritize, multitask and work independently in a fast-paced, positive work environment

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

The annual salary for this job ranges from:

$71,200.00 - $96,400.00

STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
