Job Description Summary

This means that we are focused on building a strong Supplier Sustainability, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (SDEI) program.As Program Manager you will lead the development of STEMCELL’s Supplier Sustainability, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (SDEI) program. This role will collaborate with the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team, Corporate Communications, Category Management, and Purchasing teams to develop and drive Supplier Diversity and Sustainability strategies with current and future suppliers. This role will foster engagement with leadership to support STEMCELL’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals.
This role will support all relevant situations/scenarios that require critical thinking and reviews the impact on the department and the organization, including delegation and coordination of tasks. This role ensures that program deliverables are completed on time and meet requirements, as described in the project plan. The role will have the ability to exercise judgment or seek support from their manager within undefined practices and procedures that may be incomplete or complex.

Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
Improve the current Supplier Sustainability and Diversity questionnaire for accurate and holistic assessment of our suppliers' current state Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) landscape as part of the Supplier Evaluation Program
Conduct gap analyses of the supplier Supplier Sustainability, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (SDEI) spectrum to identify and prioritize areas of opportunity for STEMCELL’s Supplier Sustainability and Diversity roadmap
Lead the development and implementation of ESG and Supplier Diversity initiatives, including SDEI system/software tools with suppliers qualified under the SDEI program
Responsible for developing the Supplier Code of Conduct (SCC), drafting other SDEI program SOPs and Policies and SDEI program benchmarks, Key Performance Indicators (KPI), baselining, metrics, and reporting
Collaborate cross-functionally with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) & Sustainability, Human Resources (HR) Diversity leads, Corporate Communications, and business stakeholders (Category Managers, Sourcing agents, Buyers)to drive Sustainable Procurement and Supplier Diversity projects
Be an educator and an ambassador of the value of sustainable growth and diverse partnerships. Represent Procurement on SDEI questions on Customer Questionnaires/Surveys
Knowledge & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain Management with 6+ years of professional experience or Master's with 4-8 years of experience. 2-3 years of Supplier Diversity or Supplier Sustainability experience required
Related experience in program management (risk management, resource allocation, and training), facilitating and managing consultation processes with a wide range of stakeholder groups, and global partners required
Experience with Supply Chain and e-Procurement tools such as SAP, GEP, Ariba, etc. will be an asset
Experience with data intelligence, visualization, and reporting software like SAP Business Warehouse (BW), PowerBI, Tableau, and Google Data Studio is an asset
Experience with business process analysis tools such as diagramming tools like MS Visio or LucidChart and continuous improvement projects is an asset
