Recruitment Fraud Alert

STEMCELL Technologies has become aware of a scam wherein somebody is offering remote job opportunities, posing as STEMCELL Hiring Management during interviews, then providing fraudulent employee agreements and checks. We have reported this criminal activity to the appropriate authorities and our online security team is working hard to ensure that it is dealt with. Please be advised that all legitimate employment opportunities at STEMCELL, including any jobs advertised on third party sites such as Glassdoor, Indeed, LinkedIn, or other local job boards will also be posted at jobs.stemcell.com, and any employment applications must be submitted directly to STEMCELL Technologies through that site. Job Description Summary

Are you looking for a meaningful way to apply your process-oriented mindset? At STEMCELL Technologies, Canada’s largest biotechnology company, we manufacture high quality products for scientific research. As a Manufacturing Technician in the Finished Goods team, you will apply critical thinking and knowledge to assist in troubleshooting daily issues in the manufacturing of our products and plasticware components. In this role you’ll work alongside a motivated and collaborative team to manufacture our scientific products while adhering to our quality standards. Your work will support the production of life science materials that help scientists across the globe!

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify, setup, and operate production equipment, including equipment involved in packaging products and printing labels

  • Set up, calibrate, and operate specialized production equipment to manufacture finished products

  • Troubleshoot issues with production equipment as they arise

  • Assist in developing and implementing new processes, as well as streamlining workflows

  • Follow written procedures to complete the manufacturing of regulated and non-regulated products

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • A high school diploma, with minimum 3 years of experience in a team environment or equivalent education and experience

  • Must be able to communicate effectively across a team verbally and through technological platforms such as ERP/SAP

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced production environment

  • Physical ability to lift 25 - 30 pounds, requiring manual dexterity and versatility

  • Flexibility to work a 1pm-9pm shift
