The Leadership Development Facilitator & Coach is a critical contributor role in the development of our leadership bench as STEMCELL, a high growth global organization, reaches 5,000 staff by 2029.

This role facilitates the progressive developmental journey of STEMCELL leaders within a well-defined core leadership curriculum aligned to STEMCELL’s Leadership Capabilities. As an embodiment of those capabilities you take a strength based approach and demonstrate a growth mindset. As such, you will form strong relationships within the business to support the transfer of learning into daily practice and ultimately making an impact towards overall culture, performance, productivity and engagement. Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide superior facilitation of leadership development programs for all levels of leaders, utilizing a variety of training delivery mechanisms including instructor-led, co-facilitation, and virtual classes or webinars.

  • Customize content from renowned Leadership Development organizations to suit the unique needs of the STEMCELL organization.

  • Lead change in mindset as STEMCELL’s leaders learn how to drive new and untapped capabilities in themselves and their teams.

  • Engage participants’ managers in the learning process to drive application of learning to the workplace.

  • Maintain communications  and relationships with participants for ongoing coaching and follow-up on completion of blended learning requirements.

  • Develop and deploy post training support and reinforcement tools to sustain behavioural changes and drive improved performance and business outcomes.

  • Coordinate and/or oversee logistics required to support the deployment of leadership development programs.

  • Stay up-to-date on current facilitation, coaching and leadership development practices, models and trends.

  • Contribute to the overall success of the STEMCELL leadership bench by identifying ways to continuously improve the learning experience.

  • Support the evaluation strategy focused on a data-driven approach to improve the leadership development offerings.

  • Partner with the supporting HR functions (HR Business Partners, Global HR Operations, Talent Acquisition) to identify gaps and opportunities, and collaborate to build and implement learning and sustainment plans that bring value.

  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed. 

  • Some travel to Europe and Asia Pacific regions may be required.


  • Master’s Degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Adult Education, Coaching & Consulting, or similar relevant practice area.

  • 5+ years of direct experience facilitating leadership development programs for all levels of leadership through a variety of media platforms.

  • Certified Coach in a recognized coaching organization is preferable.

  • Experience in assessing performance gaps, analyzing learning needs, designing and developing customer-centric solutions, and evaluating the effectiveness of learning programs.

  • Critical thinking and strong relationship building skills.

  • Qualified/certified in a variety of psychometric instruments (MBTI, Birkman, CliftonStrengths, etc.) an asset.
