Scientific Sales Representative, Immunology
Job Description Summary
Are you looking to take your scientific expertise “off the bench” and help advance research across the life sciences field? If you have a passion for science and a strong background in immunology, we have an exciting opportunity for you!As a member of our Sales team, you will partner with academic and industrial customers, using your scientific knowledge and interpersonal skills to support their research with STEMCELL's products. In this results-driven role, you will grow revenue by cultivating and expanding customer relationships across the local South San Francisco market. Leveraging your technical expertise and knowledge of the STEMCELL Immunology portfolio, you will serve as a trusted resource to customers, demonstrating how our solutions can help achieve their research goals and accelerate innovation in the life sciences.
Please note that although this is a remote position, travel within the territory is expected.
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage, grow and develop revenue opportunities within a defined territory and contribute to the development of annual team goals and deliver on quarterly objectives
Plan and execute a territory strategy to drive growth through in-depth product and market knowledge
Facilitate communication with customers by aligning their needs with appropriate STEMCELL products and support product demonstrations, lunch-and-learns, and seminars
Conduct day-to-day sales activities including technical support inquiries, quote requests, site visits, and order follow-up
Assist with technical support and trouble-shooting with professional knowledge base and experience, while maintaining sales data integrity within a CRM database
Knowledge and Qualifications
Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate degree in Immunology or related science (previous sales experience is an asset, but not required)
Experience with STEMCELL’s primary product lines, related technologies, or relevant customer markets is preferred
Technical laboratory experience such as flow cytometry, immunomagnetic cell isolation, and primary immune cell culture, is preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support customer relationship building

The salary range for this job is listed below; however, the salary offered may vary depending on the successful candidate’s location and qualifications (including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, education, training, skills, and experience). For commission based sales roles the noted salary range is inclusive of target commissions which the successful candidate is eligible to receive based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. Field based sales roles may also be eligible for an additional car allowance.
$139,400.00 - $209,000.00This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, ad&d, short and long term disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; paid holidays, vacation days, personal days, and parental leave; employee assistance program.
