Job Description Summary
STEMCELL Technologies is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Senior Operations Associate, Biospecimens to join our team! This role is integral to the success of STEMCELL’s global Biospecimens operations, supporting the efficient delivery of products and services across manufacturing and commercial functions.As the Senior Operations Associate, Biospecimens, you will manage complex, high-volume inventory workflows, partner with external suppliers, and enable data-driven decision-making to optimize supply chain performance. You will act as a key connector across Supply Chain, Customer Service, Manufacturing, and external partners to resolve inventory holds, ensure compliance, and support critical operational processes. You will also leverage data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development to identify trends, mitigate risks, and improve visibility into inventory strategy. In addition, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization, reporting enhancements, and automation. Success in this role requires strong responsiveness, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively while translating data into actionable insights.
Please note that this is a fixed-term contract role ending approximately December 24, 2027.
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Contributes to and coordinates operational process activities supporting both the manufacturing and sale of Biospecimens products and services
Designs, builds, and maintains dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau to support leadership decision-making
Query and analyze large datasets using SQL and cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to Biospecimens inventory strategy
Assists with risk identification, issue tracking, mitigation planning, and supports issue resolution or escalation
Facilitates cross-functional communication to ensure aligned execution across teams
Coordinates and executes process improvement initiatives, contributing to continuous improvement in methodologies, tools, and systems
Knowledge and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline
2–6 years of experience collaborating with diverse stakeholder groups in cross-functional environments
Solid understanding of business processes and/or product lifecycle management
Demonstrated problem-solving skills with clear, effective written and verbal communication
Proficiency with data analysis tools and systems, such as SQL, Python, Tableau, and Snowflake. Certifications are considered an asset

The annual salary for this job ranges from:
$71,200.00 - $96,400.00STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
