As the Association Event Coordinator, you will provide administrative support to non-profit associations (Malachite’s clients), including all of the following: event configuration and reporting, website maintenance, marketing including creative design and multi-channel communications (including social media), committee support and monthly events.
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the Association Executive and the rest of the client team
Act as a point of contact for client members, sponsors, speakers, board and committees via phone and email
Create, organize, and manage association communications, content, and data (email, social, marketing materials, documents, email)
Coordinate the composition and execution of marketing and promotional campaigns on LinkedIn and Instagram using Hootsuite; creative flair, impeccable business English and aptitude for professional business communications are essential
Provide administrative support on client meetings, activities (physical and virtual) and events (e.g. speaker management, registration) and help to co-manage in-person events on site as required
Knowledge and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (business, communications, or science preferred) or equivalent professional experience with 1-3 years of experience in administrative support
Familiarity with website content management systems; HTML experience is considered an asset
Interest or experience with non-profit organizations and strong interpersonal and client service skills
Exceptional organizational skills and a proactive mindset, while fostering positive relationships through a gracious and generous demeanor
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suites; social media platforms, Canva, iContact (or similar platform); familiarity with AI tools such as NotebookLM is considered an asset

The annual salary for this job ranges from:
$58,500.00 - $79,100.00STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
