In this position, you will support Quality Control activities to maintain the quality and compliance of all STEMCELL Instruments. You will be responsible for testing in-process and critical materials and components, as well as finished instrumentation products, while documenting all of your findings. You will also perform investigations related to non-conforming products, customer complaints, and other product-related issues. This position is ideal for recent Engineering graduates looking to hone their skills and build a career, while contributing to the development of devices used to perform cutting-edge research!

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials and finished goods, including magnets and instruments, according to approved procedures 

• Record results on appropriate forms and upload to the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system

• Perform root-cause investigations and prepare supporting documents, such as Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), as necessary to comply with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements

• Participate in and collaborate with manufacturing and engineering departments to coordinate repairs and process improvements

• Safely operate any specialized equipment used for the inspection and quality of instrumentation parts or instruments

Knowledge and Qualifications

• BSc in a Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field with 0-2 years of experience 

• Experience with basic hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial gauges

• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with a systematic, analytical approach are highly desired

• Highly motivated and team-oriented mindset, with strong organization and attention to detail

The annual salary for this job ranges from:

$58,500.00 - $79,100.00

STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
