You will be responsible for testing in-process and critical materials and components, as well as finished instrumentation products, while documenting all of your findings. You will also perform investigations related to non-conforming products, customer complaints, and other product-related issues. This position is ideal for recent Engineering graduates looking to hone their skills and build a career, while contributing to the development of devices used to perform cutting-edge research!
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Inspect raw materials and finished goods, including magnets and instruments, according to approved procedures
Record results on appropriate forms and upload to the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
Perform root-cause investigations and prepare supporting documents, such as Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), as necessary to comply with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements
Participate in and collaborate with manufacturing and engineering departments to coordinate repairs and process improvements
Safely operate any specialized equipment used for the inspection and quality of instrumentation parts or instruments
Knowledge and Qualifications
BSc in a Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field with 0-2 years of experience
Experience with basic hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial gauges
Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with a systematic, analytical approach are highly desired
Highly motivated and team-oriented mindset, with strong organization and attention to detail

The annual salary for this job ranges from:
$58,500.00 - $79,100.00STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
