Job Description Summary
STEMCELL Technologies, Canada’s largest biotechnology company is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Senior Program Associate, Partner Relationships. If you are a self starter who enjoys working in a collaborative and dynamic team environment then this role might be for you.In this role you will be responsible for assisting to onboard and manage strategic partners. Your exceptional communication skills and attention to detail, combined with your background in life sciences, will be critical in identifying and evaluating new potential global partners as well as nurturing existing relationships. As a Senior Program Associate, Partner Relationships, in the Business Operations Products department your work will play a key role in expanding STEMCELL’s rapidly growing product lines.
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Build a pipeline of potential partners via web search, collaboration with other departments and leveraging networks
Complete due diligence templates, and use data-driven metrics to rank suppliers
Act as a project coordinator collaborating with cross-functional teams to assist with the seamless execution of partnership projects by executing project plans, and ensuring successful completion of project components, on time and to specification
Assist in managing active partnerships by liaising between partners and internal teams to ensure efficient communication continuity and alignment of objectives and expectations of the partnership.
Inform partnership strategies by tracking and analyzing partnership metrics, providing regular reports and recommendations to senior management
Knowledge and Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in life sciences or related discipline with 2-4 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record of successfully managing partner relationships
Strong business acumen and understanding of the biotech industry, including market dynamics and trends
Highly independent and self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and make informed decisions
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with colleagues across functions and levels of the organization
Experience in sales or business-to-business (B2B) sales would be highly advantageous
