Project Coordinator, NPI Commercialization
Job Description Summary
The NPI Coordinator will work within the Process Development Operations team to support the commercialization of new products as they move to market. The candidate will also work proactively to identify continuous improvement opportunities and improve operational efficiencies. The NPI Coordinator will be able to make a big impact in the exciting and fast-paced world of new product introduction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Interact with cross-departmental team members to ensure projects or activities are progressing, including identifying and reporting roadblocks to ensure speedy resolution
Accurate and efficient transfer of knowledge and data from a product innovation system to an ERP transactional system
Grow to become an expert in master data and contribute to final product design
Coordinate a variety of meetings, projects and activities related to design/technology transfer and product commercialization, including tracking and following up on timelines and deliverables, progress reports, agendas, meeting minutes, action items and database management
Proactively address operations business needs with creative solutions
Measure operational efficiency through the development and implementation of key metrics
Ensure documentation is maintained to appropriate quality standards
Minimum BSc with 2+ years relevant experience
Working knowledge within an ERP structure a significant asset (SAP experience an asset but not required)
Knowledge of Google and MS Office suite of products
Keen attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Highly professional and adaptable with proven judgment and discretion
Demonstrate initiative, creativity, and organizational skills
Product development work experience in biotech/pharma an asset
Business/finance experience an asset
Project or program coordination experience an asset
