Recruitment Fraud Alert

STEMCELL Technologies has become aware of a scam wherein somebody is offering remote job opportunities, posing as STEMCELL Hiring Management during interviews, then providing fraudulent employee agreements and checks. We have reported this criminal activity to the appropriate authorities and our online security team is working hard to ensure that it is dealt with. Job Description Summary

The Program Manager, Operations manages the execution of programs led by the Operations Department. This role is an integral part of the Operations Program Management Office and aligns with the corporate and departmental Program Management Teams at STEMCELL, ensuring that best practices are shared and implemented across the organization.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages the planning and execution of programs, and ensures their ongoing efficacy

  • Able to design and build new programs which serve the needs of the organization, with support from the Manager, Program Management

  • Ensures consistent program management framework and best practices are adhered to

  • Leads program teams, develops schedules, and determines resources needed to achieve deliverables

  • Collaborates with Sponsors and Senior Management to determine program scope, priority and resource allocation

  • Provides clear, effective and appropriate communications to different audiences across the organization (up, down and across)

  • Asks critical thinking questions to challenge status quo and encourage healthy debate

  • Leads by example and demonstrates a ‘can do’ attitude

  • Able to effectively facilitate meetings and create clarity in a cross functional setting

  • Seeks opportunities for alignment by collaborating, motivating, consensus building and influencing both program team members and stakeholders

  • Proactively facilitates engagement of stakeholders, and identifies opportunities for program information sharing and communication

  • Generates continuous improvement ideas or activities to identify efficiencies, improve processes, and reduce costs


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study, or, minimum of 2 of years experience managing and/or 4 years coordinating cross functional programs or teams

  • Well organized with excellent communication and facilitation skills with keen attention to detail 

  • Exceptional time management skills accompanied by good judgment in order to prioritize, multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced, positive work environment

  • Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities

  • Experience building strong working relationships with team members at all levels of the organization

  • Advanced knowledge of Google and MS Office suite of products 

  • Training or formal designation in Program or Project Management are definite assets
