STEMCELL’s Contract Assay Services department is looking for a new Program Manager to join their growing team! This is a fantastic opportunity to use your scientific background in a project and operational management setting. Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Act as business liaison with internal and external stakeholders for client study execution, including the communications associated with contractual obligations
Coordinate the transfer and retention of client documents and materials ensuring all appropriate licenses and compliance documents required for import and use of controlled materials are in place
Assess ongoing operational processes and highlight opportunities for improvements
Provide project management support for the development and execution of projects and tactics that support the long term scalability of the team
Schedule and track progress for all studies, both technical and financial
Knowledge and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in the life sciences (cell biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, or related field) with 3-6 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s Degree in the life sciences with up to 4 years of relevant experience
Project management or project coordination experience and familiarity with database software is strongly preferred
Experience communicating and influencing cross-functional stakeholders; must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and team skills
Ability to assess competing priorities and meet operational deadlines in a fast paced environment
Experience with or understanding of contract research organizations, sales strategies, or content marketing strategies is an asset
