STEMCELL Technologies has become aware of a scam wherein somebody is offering remote job opportunities, posing as STEMCELL Hiring Management during interviews, then providing fraudulent employee agreements and checks. Job Description Summary

As a member of the Process Development, Media team you will work alongside experienced Engineers, Associates, and Scientists who collaborate closely on delivering robust, cost efficient, and innovative processes for STEMCELL’s largest product portfolio. In the Process Development Scientist role you’ll be responsible for the development and optimization of efficient and scalable processes to support GMP manufacturing of our cell culture media products, using both a risk-based approach and laboratory-based process characterization studies. Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the development, scale-up, and technology transfer of processes from Research & Development to Manufacturing, between manufacturing sites, and/or externally to contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs)
Perform gap analysis using risk management principles, and execute appropriate risk mitigation activities
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to determine critical quality attributes, critical process parameters, and critical material attributes
Prepare process development project proposals and reports, process flow diagrams, batch records, and other documentation
Analyze data and present results at departmental and team meetings
Knowledge and Qualifications
Educational background in the life sciences field with at least 5 years of relevant industrial experience
Hands-on experience in running lab and pilot scale experiments and equipment
Exposure to ISO 9001, ISO 13485 quality management system and cGMPs is highly desired
General knowledge of biological raw material, cell culture media, scale-up principles, technology transfer, and/or experimental design methodologies is an asset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills
