Recruitment Fraud Alert

STEMCELL Technologies has become aware of a scam wherein somebody is offering remote job opportunities, posing as STEMCELL Hiring Management during interviews, then providing fraudulent employee agreements and checks. We have reported this criminal activity to the appropriate authorities and our online security team is working hard to ensure that it is dealt with. Process Development Associate (Media)

Job Description Summary

The Process Development Department is looking for a highly motivated Associate to join the Media team. The Media team is responsible for the technology transfer of multiple new GMP products for research use or further manufacturing, while concurrently collaborating to create capacity and maintaining a huge 2000+ cell culture product portfolio. The Associate will work in a dynamic and collaborative team which deals with multiple competing priorities, steers efficiently through prioritization challenges, and has a learning and growth mindset.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support development, scale-up, and technology transfer of processes from R&D to Manufacturing between manufacturing sites or externally to CMOs

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to determine critical quality attributes, critical process parameters, and critical material attributes

  • Prepare process development project proposals and reports, process flow diagrams, batch records, and other documentation

  • Analyze data and present results at departmental and team meetings

  • Support process investigations and root cause analysis, and assist in execution of corrective and preventative actions for process-related non-conformances

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant Science or Engineering discipline with 0-2 years of relevant lab experience

  • Strong communication skills

  • Knowledge of biological raw materials and/or cell culture is an asset

  • Exposure to ISO 9001, ISO 13485 quality management system, and cGMPs is an asset

  • Good understanding of scale-up principles and technology transfer is an asset

The annual base salary for this job ranges from:

$56,270.00 - $76,100.00

STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
