Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Plan and prioritize production requirements using SAP ERP in combination with Demand Driven MRP Software, R+
Maintain data integrity in ERP system for materials (incl. lead time, stocking unit of measure, etc.)
Manage inventory levels under the PLDP portfolio including reviewing production plans according to availability of materials, resources and capacity with the team lead
Ensure materials are available for production and finished goods are available for purchase
Expedite operations that delay schedules and alter production plans to meet unforeseen conditions ensuring that backorders are promptly acted on and fulfilled
Work cross-functionally with various departments to effectively and efficiently align supply and demand
Participate on operational teams dealing with product maintenance
Knowledge and Qualifications
Degree in Materials Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Science
3-5+ years of Planning experience in a production environment utilizing a material resource planning system
ERP/MRP system experience required (experience using DDMRP systems such as R+, as well as previous experience with SAP considered assets)
Advanced analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge of Google Suite and/or MS Office programs (strong Google Sheets or MS Excel skills required)
Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate cross-functionally and collaborate with team members
