Manufacturing Operations Associate, Master Data
Job Description Summary
The Manufacturing Operations Associate, Master Data will work as part of a team to set up and maintain system data and manufacturing instructions required for manufacturing processes. The Manufacturing Operations Associate, Master Data is an essential team member who will be involved in cutting edge life science manufacturing. You will have a chance to work in a close-knit Manufacturing team and actively collaborate with STEMCELL’s Process Development, Quality Control, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance departments. The Manufacturing department requires someone who is inquisitive, work focused, attentive to detail, contributes to continuous improvements, and has the willingness to grow within a dynamic and diverse team environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), guidelines and/or diagrams to ensure accurate information is available for the scheduling and manufacturing of products.
Enter and revise system data, including but not limited to, bills of materials, recipes, and material characteristics.
Analyse and compare system data and transactional data to maintain data accuracy.
Create and maintain manufacturing batch records, including electronic and hardcopy versions.
May participate in continuous improvement projects and 5S activities within Manufacturing.
Occasional shift work may be required to meet Manufacturing demand.
Undergraduate degree and 2+ years experience with operational systems (preferably SAP) or equivalent education and experience
Experience in Manufacturing environment, pharmaceutical or the food packaging industry would be an asset
In-depth working knowledge of word-processing and spreadsheets
Must be able to communicate effectively with others and be able to work in a team
Ability to follow written instructions, standard operating procedures, and pre-defined guidelines to execute and perform the functions of the job
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Must be able to work in a fast paced, production environment
Shift work and overtime may be required
