Recruitment Fraud Alert

STEMCELL Technologies has become aware of a scam wherein somebody is offering remote job opportunities, posing as STEMCELL Hiring Management during interviews, then providing fraudulent employee agreements and checks. We have reported this criminal activity to the appropriate authorities and our online security team is working hard to ensure that it is dealt with. Job Description Summary

This is your chance to be part of a new team build where you will deliver and provide recommendations on the company’s various global compensation programs and maintain the systems and processes that support the organization’s design.

In this role, you will be a trusted partner to the HR Service Delivery team and to your assigned client groups, consulting and advising on job architecture and compensation programs. In addition, you will uphold the integrity of our job levelling framework through the consistent application of our job evaluation program, our policies and processes and the development and delivery of compensation education to all levels of leaders and employees throughout the organization.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Advises, partners and consults with HR Business & Talent Partner teams and all levels of their client departments to solve challenging job architecture and compensation related matters and lead these teams and their clients through our various cyclical compensation activities

  • Oversees the job design, job documentation and job evaluation processes within client groups

  • Projects-manages cyclical global and enterprise wide compensation programs, ensuring programs are maintained for global and regional market competitiveness

  • Maintains the governance and integrity of our enterprise wide job levelling framework and all compensation related programs and policies, through their consistent application and timely programmatic review. This includes the review and job evaluation of all Director & Below jobs and their job evaluation profiles (JEPs)

  • Serves as an expert in conventional compensation practices while also building strong external partnerships to better understand market pressures, collect intelligence and understand the latest trends, so that each compensation recommendation made supports our competitive positioning

  • Extracts, compiles and synthesizes large data sets from a variety of sources while maintaining its integrity and confidentiality. Fluent in all compensation related information systems, google sheets and excel

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree with 6-10 years of relevant experience or master's with 4-8 years of experience or PHD with 2-5 years of experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, HR or related field preferred

  • Strong knowledge of compensation practices and theory.

  • CPHR and CCP designation an asset
