Recruitment Fraud Alert

Job Description Summary

As an Analytical Development Associate, you will work collaboratively with the Process Development and cross-functional teams to develop new analytical chemistry methods for product characterization. This is an opportunity to develop your laboratory skills by working with a variety of instruments, while supporting the work of members in a variety of departments (e.g. Research and Development, Process Development, and Quality Control). STEMCELL is committed to continuous improvement and innovative scientific research, and in this role you will assist in the development of techniques at the frontier of recombinant protein and nanoparticle characterization to support the entire lifecycle of our products.

Please note that this is a 12 month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension into a full-time permanent position.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform routine testing to contribute to the analytical characterization of STEMCELL’s products and processes

  • Contribute to the development and qualification of new analytical assays

  • Draft reports to communicate study results to internal client groups

  • Support laboratory upkeep and safety, including ordering reagents and consumables

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science or engineering field with 0-2 years of hands on experience in a laboratory setting

  • Knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques, such as chromatography and spectroscopy

  • Able to work well in a team and independently

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

This role requires being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as per STEMCELL’s vaccination policy, the current recommendations by local health authorities and as required by public health orders in place from time to time, including any COVID-19 boosters as recommended by local health authorities and as required by public health orders in place from time to time.
