IT Support Analyst
Job Description Summary
A new opportunity has arisen to join our growing Information Systems (IS) team at our facility located in Grenoble, France. STEMCELL is searching for a proven individual to lead day-to-day IT support for our French Office, and work as a member of our collaborative team to support other offices in the region.
Responsibilities will vary from hands-on support, to working with global colleagues to maintain apps and services, and engaging with project teams in the European region to build and deliver corporate projects.
This is a diverse role that is well suited for an individual with strong general technical knowledge, great interpersonal and communication skills, and a proactive attitude. This role should appeal to those who enjoy a broad variety of tasks, and wish to develop skills working with cloud technologies.
This role is based in Grenoble, France, and reports to the IT Lead, Europe (based in the UK). Expectations for this role include collaborating with other STEMCELL IT colleagues from the rest of Europe, North America and the Asia Pacific region, and may include annual travel to other offices within the region.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide technical support for staff in the European region. Take ownership of support requests from report to resolution.
Collaborate with your global colleagues from other IT teams to identify and resolve recurring issues.
Act as STEMCELL's IT representative for our Grenoble, France office. Work with local business teams to ensure IT apps & services meet their needs, and align with global standards.
Administer and operate some of STEMCELL’s enterprise-wide applications and systems such as Active Directory, and communications tools. This includes monitoring system status and taking proactive steps to prevent outages.
Partner with other STEMCELL teams to deliver successful projects, including the roll-out of new applications & building expansions.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of IT global standards and practices, including identifying and leading improvements to systems & processes.
Perform regular scheduled maintenance, including updating documentation, and respond to operational emergencies and system failures.
Previous experience in the IT field.
Substantial experience in an IT support role, including demonstrated experience leading troubleshooting and resolution of complex problems.
Degree or diploma in a technology related discipline, or a mix of industry certifications & strong experience.

Possess excellent problem-solving skills to efficiently resolve root issues.
Strong organizational and time management skills accompanied by good judgment in order to prioritize, manage and work with limited guidance in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Confident, results-oriented individual; lead by example and demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude.
Demonstrate curiosity learn about new tools and technologies.
