Talent Sourcing Specialist
Job Description SummaryOur Talent Acquisition is growing and evolving, and with this we have some exciting new opportunities! We are looking for a Talent Sourcing Specialist who will work with our recruitment team to ensure we are finding the best talent to fill our roles. You will partner with our recruiting team to ensure candidate pipelines are healthy, well researched, and candidates prescreened. You will support our recruiting team in building creative approaches to sourcing candidates and building a pipeline of strong, diverse candidates (both active and passive) across various technical and non-technical roles within STEMCELL. You will work closely with other members of the Recruitment team to provide input into sourcing strategy and real-time feedback on sourcing strategy effectiveness. Duties & Responsibilities:
Source candidates through online channels (job boards, internal database and professional networks).
Find, engage and attract passive candidates using Boolean, social media and alternative search techniques.
Responsibility for being the first point of contact for candidates, delivering exceptional candidate care and ensuring that candidates are effectively pre-screened before inclusion into the recruitment process.
Develop sustainable and proactive talent sourcing pipelines for repeat, high volume role profiles.
Qualifying candidates for skill, cultural, and motivational fit, utilizing behavioural based approach and screening criteria.
Maintaining timely and accurate information on all candidate interactions.
Assist in the recruitment and selection process including sourcing and screening resumes as well as interview support as needed.
Collaborate with Hiring Managers and Recruiters for identifying requirements of each position.
Develop and leverage external talent intelligence to inform Talent Partners and/or other stakeholders as it relates to hiring strategies
Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to ensure a health pipeline of talent is maintained for assigned high volume roles.
Maintain contact with existing talent pool candidates to obtain and capture up to date market intelligence and briefing them on potential current and future opportunities.
Cooperate with the recruitment team about sourcing techniques and effective strategies.
Provide an exceptional candidate experience through regular and effective communications and customer care
Assist with development and implementation of candidate initiatives such as candidate newsletters, marketing campaigns, sourcing strategies etc.
Contribute to team and departmental initiatives outside of day-to-day tasks.
Be an active member of the team and contribute feedback regularly in team meetings.
Undergraduate degree is required. A scientific degree is considered an asset.
Strong communication skills and the desire to build genuine relationships.
Ability to source creatively from sources such as job boards, associations, employee referral programs, social media and internet searches,
Strong knowledge of technology (Boolean search logic, Outlook, Web, Excel, PowerPoint and Word),
Good time-management and organization skills, with the ability to adapt.
Highly motivated and capable of working effectively as part of a dynamic team.
Proven ability to think strategically and problem solve.
Desire to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Proven work experience in recruitment/ sourcing or similar role would be an asset.
Knowledge of sourcing/ recruitment tools and methods would be an asset.
Experience with Human Resources Management software and Applicant Tracking Systems would be an asset.
