We’re looking for a creative and talented content creator to join us at STEMCELL, Canada’s largest biotechnology company!As a Production Artist you will assist the design team in the production of graphic collateral, packaging, display, and advertising projects. You’ll work in a variety of mediums including print, web, social media, and physical signage to grow your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment. Job Description
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Use knowledge of different platforms, formats, and sizing requirements to optimize designs as appropriate while maintaining high quality resolution
Use strong interpersonal skills and desire to learn to build relationships with collaborators like scientific stakeholders, supervisors, and other departments
Produce and update informative graphics like data figures and presentations for internal and external audiences
Curate and maintain an archive of graphic design files
Knowledge and Qualifications
Degree or diploma from a related program; 3+ years of relevant work experience
A portfolio demonstrating the ability to produce high quality graphics for print, web, email, social media, exhibits, signage and packaging
Intermediate knowledge of Google and Adobe Suites
An ability to think critically and work independently in response to changing priorities, as well as take direction and work as part of a team
Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal skills; reading comprehension of Chinese is an asset
