As an Instrumentation Applications Specialist, you will provide scientific and technical support for customers and Sales Representatives for our cell separation, media and instrumentation products. International travel to customer sites is a significant part of this position.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and perform routine and technically challenging instrument demos for existing and potential customers
• Develop, troubleshoot and optimize protocols for new and existing customers
• Assist Service and Sales team with instrument installation and qualification; teach and train customers and internal staff on the use of products
• Execute and assist in the product education of in-house personnel, customers and distributors
• Respond to and document customer issues to ensure resolution in a timely manner; work with Engineering and Technical Support Staff as required

Knowledge and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree with 2-6 years of relevant experience in Immunology, Hematology, Molecular Biology or an Applied Science or MSc with less than 4 years of relevant experience

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both in one-on-one and group settings

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to explain scientific and technical information to both experts and non-experts alike

• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
